First Scientific Proof Of God Found

W.I.T. scientists, in conjunction with the Human Genome Project and Bob Jones University, have made what may be the most astounding discovery of this, or any generation. While working to understand and map the function of sequences of DNA in the human genome known as “Junk DNA” (for their lack of known function), scientists at W.I.T. noted that while the DNA sequences they were seeing bore little resemblance to the coding for biological function, they bore a striking similarity to the patterns of human language. Contacting and working closely with linguists and philologists from Bob Jones University, W.I.T. set out to analyze and decode the areas of Transposons and Retrotransposons which seemed indicative of human language.

Linguistic professors at Bob Jones University, long noted for its intellectual rigor, began to attempt to translate the decoded segments that W.I.T. was providing. The structure was notably and demonstrably human in nature. The coding language found, which utilized sequences of twenty-eight independent values, fell easily into the incidence range of known alphabets. Sequences of independent connected values likewise mirrored the structure of word composition in human languages. The Linguistic and Philology team at Bob Jones began an extensive comparison of the quizzical script found in the “Junk DNA” with the catalog of every recorded human language; hoping to find similar lingual threads so that they could begin to formulate translations of the message laying hidden in the DNA. Professors were rocked with sheer awe when they found that one existent language, and one language alone, was a direct translatable match for the sequential DNA strands.

The Language in the “Junk DNA”, the DNA that scientists had for years discarded as useless, was indistinguishable from ancient Aramaic. Even more amazingly, as linguists started to translate the code within the human genome, they found that parts of the script it contained were at times remarkably close in composition to verse found in the bible. And at times contained direct biblical quotes.

On the human gene PYGB, Phosporomylase Glycogen, a non-coding transposon, holds a linguistic sequence that translates as “At first break of day, God formed sky and land.” This bears a stunning similarity to Gen 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Gene Bmp3 has a Retrotransposon sequence which translates to the well-known 1 Cor 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” This is repeated over and over throughout the entire sequence of human DNA: embedded equivalent genetic code of ancient Aramaic that seems to translate as the word of god to his people.

Matthew Boulder, chief linguist for the project and professor of applied creation sciences at Bob Jones University, issued this statement: “As for the evidence- it is there and it is, to my view, undeniable. The very word of God, elegantly weaved in and out of our very bodies and souls, as plain as day. And the beauty of it, that God would lay down the words of truth in our very beings, shows his love and The Miracle.”

Scientists at W.I.T. await replication of our own research extracting and sequencing “Junk” DNA and verification of translation into Aramaic by independent sources before we move forward on the peer review process and the release of our total research and discovery to date.

On reading this, I felt like the writer had some kind of bias. Look at the first sentence — it doesn’t describe anything about the finding, only hyped it.

Say it’s true, that this junk DNA with its Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine and Thymine translates bible verses into our DNA. How does this prove god’s existence? Not only that, how does this prove the Christian god is the real one out of the thousands of other gods?

The argument I’m seeing in this article is (I arranged them into lines of three, two premises and a conclusion):

Junk DNA is just hanging around in our bodies.
We’re noticing a pattern in the junk DNA.
Therefore the junk DNA might translate into a language.

The junk DNA might translate into a language.
Aramaic works with the patterns in the junk DNA.
Therefore the junk DNA translates into Aramaic.

The junk DNA translates into sentences.
The sentences are from the Bible.
    Therefore God is real.

TL;DR — Assuming it’s true, how does this a) prove a deity’s existence, and b) prove that the Christian god is real?

How does it prove the Christian God is real? Could it be because it reads from the Bible of the Christian God? Both testaments.
And then the very passages are about the human body or creation. What are the odds? I think it is enough to make one re-consider some things.

Deuteronomy encourage doing it because God want that to be done.

“22:13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
22:14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
22:15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
            22:16 And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
22:17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
            22:18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
22:19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
22:20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:
22:21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.”

Deuteronomy are the Laws of Moses, dictated from God to the prophet Moses.

For those who reference the Old Testament to prove that God sucked, they should read the New Testament. God sent Jesus to die for our sins. All that happened in the Old Testament was washed away by the blood of Jesus so that we could be saved instead of slaughtered.

A lot of you don’t get it do you? Man fell from Eden. From that the ones called “The fallen angels” took the daughters of men for they saw they were beautiful. Took them as wives and they bore giants in those day. They tainted Gods creation! NOAH was the only seed of man that was not corrupted and that is why God saved him and his family. Man had sinned against the animals and each other and it is happening all over again! They are messing with the DNA again and mixing it with other animals creating crimeias! We will see the giants again! I don’t think they ever left! You see them in drawing all over the world and in Egypt. But man wants to explain things away and it being your imagination! Also these so called “aliens” are really fallen angels! Look the powers that be worship a god and it’s not the god of heaven. They worship satan. I am talking about politicians, movie stars, musicians, and one who makes millions of dollar a month. They are all luciferian. They are all satanist! You can also see more pagan ways being accepted back into society. Because history does repeat it’s self and humans never learn there lesson! The powers that be control us and they are using atheist to bring in there “new age”. Albert Pike was an evil man! He was also the only confederate general to have a statue in Washington DC. He talked about using the atheist as fools to help bring in there new world religion of Luciferianism. It’s in his book “Morals and Dogma”. But so many choose to ignore God. It does not matter how much proof there is of God. You will still have those people who are blinded by demons they think don’t exist. Man will never change and that is why this world can never have peace. So stop buying into the idiotic notion the there can be “world peace”. It can never happen under human control. The heart of man is to easily corrupted!

(He didnt kill them..we did) In our generation they get sentenced (if caught) and gets bail after a few years, ends up doing the same thing, UNLESS they find HIM! Dang man. Thats like saying health class is just “A bunch of people smoking and getting stds and getting fat and stuff.” The bible references bad things because they need to be addressed in some form or fashion. Anyone who earnestly seeks out of curiosity or humility will find that the bible is an AMAZING place for fantastic stories and lessons and worthwhile life values. As for the validity of this post, I cannot be certain. However, faith shouldn’t (And honestly really can’t) be made concrete by the existence of a scientific parallel. If this isn’t true, oh well; God’s word can’t be tarnished. If it is true, thats fantastic, and should be regarded with the same awe we devote to all of god’s creations. All I’m saying is you might try examining the Word a little better before you bash it for any fallacies.

Well said Eshin G. and Ed, those who read the Bible and look to find a way to deny it’s applicability to lives, usually don’t read it in it’s entirety, but only look for passages suited to their own motivation. The findings of DNA proof of God’s hand in Creation and His Call to All of Us is wonderful, but whether it is definitely proven or not should not affect Faith in the One True Living God.

            November 10, 2014 at 9:11 am

Do you believe in the Old or the New testament? Because they are two very different things. Old testament: God is a wrathful and vengeful God, killing thousands of innocent people. New testament: God is loving and caring and wants to save all the people on earth, as we are all his children. Well I for one find it hard to believe someone that kills off thousands of innocents and then all of a sudden wants to save the entire human race, is he bipolar or something? Besides if the bible is a story of good vs evil, why then has God killed more people than Satan has? Surely if God is Omnipotent and Omniscient he can remove all evil from the world? I refuse to believe in a God that allows a young child to be raped by their own grandfather.

          • Thiago Santos

            November 28, 2014 at 10:07 am

Werno, where did you read that they were ‘innocent’? Bible clearly says that all on earth and who ever lived (Save Jesus who was God) are guilty of violating God’s Laws. The fact that we are not sticken down and judged immediately after having sinned is testament to God’s character of being slow to anger, and long sufering and merciful to get us to repent and accept his peace terms in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

I think you missed the point that the Cannanites were pagans who did abominable things like offer their new borns to pagan gods by burning them as sacrifices among other things, so God used the Israelites to carry out his judgement on those people.

Or all those other awesome bits that imply rape is totally god-approved: Judges 21:10-24, Numbers 31:7-18, Deuteronomy 20:10-14, Deuteronomy 21:10-14, Judges 5:30, Zechariah 14:1-2

And then there’s also all those sweet “yeah, totally murder babies” bits.

Although this doesn’t necessarily prove that god exists, it’s hard to call this a coincidence. Especially since the verses appear more than once. Also, I think you know what corks are, those are what we’re made up of and corks are made of sound, so technically we’re made up of sound. I believe that’s the sound of gods word that makes us up from when he spoke the world into existence. What other sound would it be?

Most of the verses translated are in the Old Testament which is also the Jewish Torah. Muslims acknowledge the Torah and the Bible as holy books. The only real difference between Muslims and Christians is that Muslims see Jesus and Mohammed as prophets rather than a savior. There really aren’t thousands of, “gods,” unless maybe you went to every isolated indigenous tribe and sought their beliefs… Otherwise we’re talking about ancient, dated polytheism which essentially assigns spirits to our surroundings. Monotheism evolved from polytheism to say that the spirit is all the same… the spirit of truth, life, and example. The majority of the world acknowledges this spirit as God. Even indigenous peoples referred to it as The Great Spirit. George Lucas tried to capture his version in The Star Wars sagas. Propagandistic war mongers will convince you that the other side is dumb and sub-human. If you want proof of God it lies in experience. Seek and ye shall find. In a court of law is testimony not enough? Is the natural mathematical order of the universe not enough of a footprint of a divine cause for existence? The reality is we get to choose our cause. Will our lives be a cause for truth, justice, love, and life or deception, extortion, hate, and death? It is our free will. I choose love. God is love.

          September 4, 2014 at 8:52 am

God is not love, love is love. When you change definitions you make it difficult to define anything in a meaniful way. When you call things they aren’t, make definitions fuzzy, communication becomes difficult, because no one can agree now on which definition you’re using, you’ve become non-specific. Communication is all about being precise, simple and specific to communicate your idea. God, that is if you’re talking about the Abrahamic God is defined by the Holy Bible. That god is evil, genocidal, jealous, demanding, among many other terrible things. That god is not love. He’s just a supernatural character in a storybook. The book served to control societies for many generations as an explanation for the universe, and for the creatures on earth. But now we know better. For every new discovery science has made, the Bible version becomes a metaphor and the Abrahamic god becomes smaller. And love is a word we use to describe an intense feeling of deep affection for someone or something. You may call the Abrahamic God Love, but it’s not a definition I can agree with, not based on the definitions the rest of us accept. You may call your own personal god Love, but no body knows what that is but you. You may have a deep affection for the wonder and beauty of the universe in all it’s imperfections, but that’s a personal definition that can’t be used to communicate anything specific or meaningful to the rest of us, unless you get more specific. Because when you change definitions, others have to agree with it for it to be meaningful in any way useful, and for the conversation to advance. God is an idea, and for many of us he’s become a hindrance to modern progress. Some people may need that idea, but they are likely ill-educated or have failed to ask, “What exactly do you mean when you say God is Love?”, or they have been indoctrinated at a young age, or they have gottten caught up in the new-age metaphysical spiritualism movement, or they call themselves “spiritual” instead of “religious” in order to try to avoid the baggage that comes along with organized religion. I’ve been there, and it’s time for you to let go. It will be a weight off your shoulders.

just shutup. that was so stupid. look, non-Christians can’t just read parts of the Bible and pervert the words without any historical backround knowledge of Jewish culture back then, that’s not how it works. do research other than from biased atheistic websites, because you will obviously not find anything but hate on there. and don’t just read the Bible straight up either, because without backround knowledge a lot of parts can be misunderstood. idk what ‘weight off your shulders’ you are talking about, without a God there is no meaning in life and we can all do whatever the hell we want and are useless. that’s a pretty sad, weightbearing alternative. works don’t give your life meaning, you will always be searching for a furfillment that will never last.

          • Michael Cohron

            October 29, 2014 at 3:38 am

            God defines love as such
1 Corinthians 13:4-7New International Version (NIV)

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Love is much more than just a strong affection for someone or something. A strong affection does not cause irrational actions and behaviors. God has done everything in His power to give us a perfect life. We are the ones who keep messing it up. You can not pin the shot comings of man on God. If so then no one person should ever be convicted of a crime, but their parents for allowing it to happen. That is the same logic you are trying to use. As you can see it doesn’t hold up to well.

          • Bre

            November 6, 2014 at 3:26 pm

Do you not expect a parent to punish their child if their child disobeys? God punished his creations for disobeying because he is the perfect parent. If we had not gone against God, he would have no need to punish us.

Who is talking about a CHRISTIAN God? Only because the article quotes 1 Corinthian 6?

First whether people believe it or not, the SUPREME DEITY exists and HE has a name!

Second HE CREATED ALL whether people believe or not…. that does not negate TRUTH, only the belief in TRUTH.

Thirdly HE is the El (the GOD) of Avraham, Yitsha’aq and Ya’acov and of their descendants. Whether these folks believe this or not… is really beside the point.

Fourthly, He is the SUPREME BEING at the origin of the religions known as Judaism, Christianity and the Moslem faith… All other religions are a pale imitation of the ORIGINAL TRUTH and YES these 3 above mentioned religions are all FLAWED! Why? Because interpreted by human beings that think they know it all and add their own flavor! Just READ SCRIPTURE translated from the ARAMEIC, the HEBREW and the Greek when no other original text is to be found (A good start would be THE SCRIPTURES by ISR) – Read and ask for personal revelation and understanding of the WORD!!! HE will give it to you if you remain HUMBLE and OPEN as one TRULY seeking to know the Truth… whether you like that Truth or not!

Please realize also that what is widely known as the “Old” Covenant / Testament, which should really be called the ORIGINAL COVENANT, is stand-alone… the very foundation of TRUTH and of the existence of YAH revealing HIMSELF to HIS worthy children. The so called ‘New” Covenant / Testament should be properly named the RENEWED COVENANT, bringing about the JEWISH MESSIAH named YAHUSHUA = YAH SAVES / YAH IS SALVATION and HIS Teachings… that have proven to be true throughout HISTORY and more is in the making in our present days.

So, my dear Aaron, if our Creator CHOSE to reveal HIMSELF in us by branding HIS TRUTH in our very DNA, I think we should humbly be honored that HE went to that extreme effort so that we would all know TRUTH, CHOOSE to accept it, CHOOSE to ACCEPT HIM and surrender our pride, our doubts and more to HIS Mercy and Grace and to recognize HIS begotten SON as the JEWISH MESSIAH HE had promised through Mosheh (Moses), Yehoshua (Joshua), King Dawid, Shlomeh (Solomon), and prophets such as YESHAYAHU (Isaiah, Yermeyahu (Jeremiah), Dani’el, Ezeki’el, etc.

No HE was / is NOT the Christian God (the Son) – Please study Scriptures before assumptions and declarations are made! HE IS INDEED THE JEWISH MESSIAH promised, prophesied time and time again in Scriptures in many details…. No HE did NOT come at first as the LION OF YEHUDAH but as a baby in a manger because HIS Plan, HIS ways are different than ours.. and only those open to recognizing HIM do. HE came to save the lost (first Diaspora) and to teach the world… HE IS coming back as the LION OF YEHUDAH and HE WILL then be recognized by ALL: believers and NON-believers and ALL will bow down…. to HIM…

This is TRUTH (I belong to NO religion)… I study SCRIPTURE, History and observe facts and I do not deny facts proven time and time and time and time again to justify my unbelief…. I do not stick my head in the sand to negate and to refuse to see what comes to slap me in the face… TRUTH

I pray you take 5 Mn to read and re-read this and to ask HIM if this IS indeed TRUTH or not AND MOST OF ALL… the right question… IS HE REAL … IS HE TRUTH…. and open your heart and soul and let HIM deposit HIS answer in your heart….

      Love in HIM

thegod of Islam isNot the same as the Godof the Jews and Christians. Allah is descrbed in the Koran copleatly diffrent than the Gd of the Jews and Christians, the discrption of Allahin the koran is thesameas the descriptions of Satanin the torah and the bible. Allah was the name of the moon god in a old pagan polythistic religion.
it is true that the Muslims are also descendent from Abraham, but through Ishmael not through Isack.

Jimmy, I wouldn’t suppose to suggest that science can prove the non-existance of anything, because that would be bad science, science has nothing to say about non-existence. That said, the reason not to be so cavalier as you are about what the stakes of being mistaken about his existence are is that people are getting hurt. If belief in god is a mistake, then it goes beyond “we all die and our bodies deteriorate” (though that happens too); we’re staring at a mistake leading to humans murdering each other and repressing each other and leading lives according to restrictive and harmful normative codes. Again, I don’t know that I personally think it’s worthwhile to engage in this kind of discussion, but that’s why this discussion can be taken seriously by people with the best of intentions.

          December 3, 2014 at 10:10 am

images Researchers at Harvard University announced today that they have found what appears to be a message from God written inside the human genome.

In a little-explored section of non-coding DNA, a team of top geneticists discovered a 22-word snippet of ancient Aramaic in which God confirms his existence and his role in creating life on Earth.

The stunning finding represents nearly irrefutable evidence of God’s existence and his role in creating the process of evolution by natural selection.

The message was discovered when researchers noticed strange mathematical patterns appearing within a certain section of the genom
          For Heaven’s Sake

“We knew the patterns weren’t naturally occurring,” explains Charles Watson, the lead scientist on the project, “but we couldn’t come up with any convincing explanation for them.

“On a whim, we started cross referencing the patterns with language databases,” he explains, “and we were shocked to find that the patterns corresponded to ancient Aramaic.”

Stunned by its discovery, the team contacted language experts familiar with Aramaic – the language Jesus Christ spoke in daily life.

Entirely decoded, the message reads: “Hello my children. This is Yahweh, the one true Lord. You have found creation’s secret. Now share it peacefully with the world.”

Yahweh is the biblical name for the Judeo-Christian god.

          Inherit The Earth

The findings will be published in the journal Nature next month, and are expected to provoke the biggest scientific controversy since Charles Darwin published his theory of natural selection in 1859.

“This doesn’t mean that the theory of evolution is wrong,” says Watson. “It’s just incomplete. It seems that in reality the Judeo-Christian god actually started the whole process.

“And instead of just telling us about natural selection, he left a hidden signature that we could find 200,000 years later when we invented the right technology. It makes total sense really.

“Before this discovery I was a committed atheist. Now I’m a devout Christian. This is exactly the kind of proof I needed to ease my doubts.”

In addition to its profound impact on science, the news is set to revolutionize the world of comparative religion.

“I think the message clearly indicates that God wants us to co-exist peacefully with our fellow human beings,” says Janice Taylor, a bishop in the Anglican Church.

However, other Christian denominations have a different interpretation of the scientists’ findings.

“Clearly this means our God is the one true God and that we should exterminate rival religions,” says Frank Page, leader of the conservative Southern Baptist Convention. “Now that we have truth on our side, I think it’s time we start a new crusade.”

Look, to everyone who argues and tries to disprove God’s existence through scientific proof that actually has full proof of a God, let me ask this. Why is it so important to you to prove he is non-existent? If you believe him to not be real, why do you feel the need to go through so much time, which you could spend on other, more important things, disproving him? I get it, you believe him to not be real, but you don’t need to go through these large arguments. If you’re right, he isn’t real, then good for you, we all die and our bodies deteriorate and nothing happens. If you’re wrong, then you’ll find out on judgement day. Please though, just stop wasting your life trying to disprove something to others that you don’t believe in, it’s a waste of your time, and ours.

    • Cord

      July 7, 2014 at 6:05 am

Jimmy, It is not that we are trying to disprove god. We are trying to get people to think about what they are believing in first. Also when people believe in nonsense and make believe then they tend to vote on policies and laws that will effect others that either believe in something different or don’t believe at all.

Think about like this, most believers here would agree that it should forced to have pray in public schools. But I ask you if you would be ok with your child being in a class of a Muslim teacher and being “forced” to practice a muslim pray? My guess is that you would not like that so that about how it impacts others to be forced to practice (or sit in) your prays.

To me it doesn’t matter if the founding fathers were believers or not. The whole point at that time was getting away from a government that was highly influenced by the church. Now you all are wanting to go back to that because you have the numbers now, Sad!

      • Christy

        July 9, 2014 at 8:25 am

Cord, no one wants to “force” anyone to pray to any god. We (Christians) would like to be able to pray and have our children be able to pray at any time, any place, any where that we wish, without fear of retribution.
Our founding fathers did not escape a government that was highly influenced by the church. They were getting away from a tyrancial government that was greedy and wanted all of their goods and money in the form of extremely inflated taxation. That, was the whole point at the time.
What we want to go back to, is our right to worship our God whenever and where ever we wish. If you choose not to believe in a higher power, then so be it, but don’t force your non-belief onto others – that is what is sad!

I was suspended in 8th grade for reading my Bible in school. I opened it up during the last 10 minutes of English (free time) and my teacher came up to me, told me I couldn’t read that in school and took it away from me. So I pulled out my pocked edition and opened it right back up. She sent me to the office and wasn’t going to give me my Bible back, but I snatched it up and left without a word. “Own your faith.” Unfortunately, that’s hard to do when everyone starts tearing at your skin if you mention God…

And gay people are getting married and women are using birth control and divorces are happening and we wear mixed fabrics and eat shellfish. Don’t do those things if you don’t want to. Faith has no truth value, it is something you choose to believe against all reason or any accountability to any test of truth. Faith therefore has nothing whatsoever to do with morality except to the extent that it is in fact immoral. You do not get to accept or not accept what other people do if they do not have any material impact on your fundamental rights, which do not include what you choose to believe.

You do, however, have a right to remain silent and I suggest you exercise it until such time as you have reflected upon how you seek to oppress others and developed sufficient contrition on the matter.

I agree that we shouldn’t be forced to pray, but I don’t see that happening ANYWHERE in the US. However, I think we should be allowed to pray – it is a fundamental right to worship in this country.

I too think we should all think about what we believe, even non-theists. Now aside from the numerous evidences that point to God (Causation, Order, Design, Morality), my standard reply is that I accept the existence of God because of the absurdity of what would follow if He didn’t exist.

Without God, I would have to believe that:
        Life came from non-life,
        intelligence came from non-intelligence,
        reason came from non-reason,
immaterial mind came from matter or particles,
personal morals came from an impersonal explosion,
        consciousness came out of unconsciousness,
        order came out of disorder,
        design came from non-design,
meaning and purpose came from chaos,
        everything came from nothing.

And personally, I don’t have enough faith to believe that.

God allows His creations to make their own choices. Good and bad. It is not that God allows bad things to happen, it is that man has made a choice that made something bad to happen. In all the terrible things men do to each other, it is still by there own choice, not God’s.
As for the “natural disasters” that take the lives of the innocent, who are you to say there is never any part of the death caused by men? You only have the ideas in your head, however, if you were allowed to see the full timeline of events and characters at play perhaps your vision of God would be clearer.

Whatever. Don’t tell me that the primary atheist concerns are based on political agendas. That’s a fucking high horse if I ever heard one.

Nobody’s being forced to pray to any certain god these days.

Atheists are latching on to their cause every bit as much as a religious person latches on to theirs. That’s what makes the atheist every bit as hypocritical as the religious person they’re arguing with.

By definition, a true atheist wouldn’t care what anyone else believes and probably wouldn’t have even have bothered clicking on this link. By definition, there wouldn’t even be an “Atheist” label.

But everyone needs a cause. Even the “Atheist.” It’s human nature.

There are consequences to belief! There is nothing noble about standing back and “respecting” madness. Acting as if any belief is equally valid because it can’t definitively be proven false is itself madness. We must insist upon proof for fantastic beliefs and realize that we will not understand everything. You are operating under misconceptions that you obviously want to adopt as true. You may not know that evolution is a very solidly confirmed scientific reality, but it is. You not knowing that is a matter of you being uneducated on the topic. You aren’t operating under Logic. You are using your own personal set of rules, and those rules are mired in ignorance.

You can’t disprove that which there’s no independent evidence of, ie something you cannot test for, pointing at reality without making predictions isn’t testing.

The belief it’s self isn’t really all that relevant till people use that belief to justify other actions and legislation.

Also, pascals wager really? This assumes there’s an afterlife if a god exists, it assumes a god cares about whether or not you believe it’s there, it assumes a god doesn’t care about why you claim to believe or too stupid to know why you claim to believe, it assumes that belief is subject to the will. If you believe the last is true then by all means believe you can fly by flapping your arms and jump from a high place (don’t do this).

Ok. I see an article, published by a university, stating this “amazing breakthrough” in research they have uncovered. No hard evidence, just statements of evidence. No sources, only an invitation for other researchers to do what they have done.

Why is noone disputing this? This research is clearly biased and has no actual proof of anything.

Yet, what everyone is worried about is whether or not the founders of the U.S. were believers in god?
That literally has nothing to do with what has been found here.

I like to consider myself relatively neutral when it comes to religion. I believe in the possibility of the existance of a God, but am not about to make assumptions as to what kind of god, or what religion is “true”

(is it even possible for humans just like us thousands of years ago to understand our creation any better than we do now? How do we know that they were not above lying and manipulation to achieve things they could not have otherwise, just as we do now?.)

If this research can be confirmed, then by all means this is an amazing discovery and should make people reconsider the possibilities of our creation.

Until then, however i will just have to view this as another attempt at manipulation by the christian church.

There are many comments here with references to the Bible. I’m assuming this is the King James version (the most widely used one).
This version was completed in 1611 by 8 members of the Church of England. There were (and still are) NO original texts to translate. The oldest manuscripts available, were written down 100’s of years after the last apostle died. There are more than 8,000 of these old manuscripts with NO TWO ALIKE.
The King James translators used none of these anyway! Instead, they edited previous translations to create a version this vane king and his cronies in parliament would approve.
So … 21st century Christians believe the so-called ‘Word of God’ is a book compiled and edited in the 17th century, from 16th century translations of 8,000 contradictory copies of 4th century scrolls, that claim to be copies of lost letters written in the 1st century!!!!
    That’s insanity, not faith!

As a person that helped dig up the Dead Sea scrolls, you do not know what you are talking about. “100 years ago the last apostle died”. That literally makes no sense since the original apostles were thousand years ago. There are also hundreds upon hundreds of direct original texts in Hebrew that can be translated (I would know since I discovered some of them). The anger and lack of knowledge in your writing lets me know your biased information is of little matter and smart people will see your discredited post and laugh. This is a common misconception that is used to justify not believing in the consistency of the manuscripts we have. There are over 5000 manuscripts used to translate modern texts into English and some of those manuscripts date back to the second century when direct disciples of the apostle John were still living. These very early manuscripts remain astoundingly consistent with the other manuscripts we have from later centuries.

Jimmy, it is not those of us that question God’s existence that try to prove anything, look at this article, this is what we really see, an idiot, making up some fairy tale to manufacture some relevance to a section of DNA we are still working on trying to see how it fits into making a human what we are. And of course it is in some ancient lingo that 10 people on the planet can understand, or clam they do anyway. There is only one thing that is proven by the devotion to a god, and that is OUR GOD IS BETTER THAN YOURS , ad if you do not agree, our devotees will kill your devotees, THIS IS A PROVEN FACT THROUGHOUT ALL HUMAN HISTORY. If you do not believe in our deity , you must be wrong, pity about the fact that there are so many different gods, and so many different *religions* … and the only common thing is … WAR , MURDER, MAYHEM, Fear of the afterlife .. Oh, and millions of cases of child abuse amongst those that preach the words of their god.

The problem with people is that they try to put human attributes to their perception of what and who God is, He doesn’t need your permission to do what he does or what He has chosen for everyone to follow.
that’s like saying if a bacteria stood next to you and started mouthing off about what you thought or your words, you wouldn’t even notice.
Take that concept and then multiply it times infinity and you’ll still not understand, unless He allows you to understand.

Samsiel, “….what He has chosen for everyone to follow…” what about this thing called “Free Will” and, you can not multiply by “infinity” because “infinity” is “infinite”, sort of like “Pi” only more fun.

Is there going to be like a review on this? Or someone else try this to see the results? This would be cool if real, but honestly they don’t exactly five concrete proof and there’s no one else who has done it, so it’s not like there’s a whole lot of proof yet… when there’s a review done on this and the results are the same, I think v people may take this seriously, but until then, I don’t know why people are basically accepting this as fact. Also, the Bible talus alot about having faith and all that and alot of Christians say “you have to have faith, God doesn’t just give absolute proof because that wouldnt give people the option of faith.” If this was proven true, this article pretty much totally goes against that…

Is there by chance any other scientists that are not bias that can prove this or disprove it? It would be wonderful if it was true for me, for I think a second chance at being perfect verses total death is better. But I see so much crap on the web I need more proof then this.

I read this article with an open mind. I read the comments with an equally open mind. I am no scientist nor am I a theologist. I am just a man. My beiefs are pagan. What I see in this article and subsequent posts is yet another chapter in the timeless arguement between believers and nonbelievers. As far as I am concerned it is a futile practice. This article claims the bible is in our dna. From what I can see the bible is a written copy of what is commonly refered to as our concience. With that said, If ye harm none, do what ye will. In other words, think about your actions and how they will effect yourself and others both now and well into the future. Those near and far. Blessed be

Well if the bible is the translated version of the human conscience, then I’m curious as to how that consciousness got there. Because it would be against all laws of the universe to believe that we all share the same conscience.

The professed evidences of God’s existence will always be scorned and critiqued. Though the scientific attempts are intriguing to analyze and consider, it seems that God’s true existence is best understood by that spiritual intuition and faith; yes, that very thing that Paul claimed the world would shun as foolishness. Further, I have found that proof of any principle is still insufficient to produce a major and lasting change in an individual truly bent on a course they have clung to. Further, it seems that even when information is provided to contradict one’s former beliefs, many people tend to cling to their former beliefs even more ardently than before.

A challenge for all the non-believers. Since scientific theories are wrong over 95% of the time, why not use your own analysis instead of listening to some “genius” in the scientific world saying there is no God.

Look at the world around you and put your observations to the test, accident of nature or designed. Can a near perfect “creation” be a freak of nature or not? A very simple test to start with would be speech and hearing. We all take them for granted but the ear has like 20,000 hair type nerves that respond to a specific frequency and must be combined in the brain to get “intelligence” from that sound. Not only that, we can judge distance and direction as well as volume.

Add to that the fact that our voice box is tuned to the same frequencies as our hearing. There is a huge spectrum of frequencies from basically O hertz to infinity. If these two hadn’t gotten on the same frequencies, we couldn’t talk to each other. Accident or design? If you still are leaning toward accident (evolution) consider the fact that without hearing, there would be no way of knowing these frequencies exist nor could be used by living things.

Sight is the same, developing a perfect set of receptors for an unknown frequency with wipers, a lubrication system, focus, intensity control and even eyelids so we can sleep.

That old answer of billions and billions of years might sound real scientific but remember, scientists are almost always wrong. Science is more faith that proof. Just waiting for someone smarter to correct them.

I tried this for many years questioning my belief a God existed. Designed or an accident of nature? When you want a real challenge, think of a life form going from cell splitting for reproduction to a two party system like a man and a woman. Logistics seem to be a major problem on this one. No desire, no experience and a woman claiming “you want to do WHAT????” Changing a complete reproduction system seems impossible to me. Explain it if you figure it out. Please, no billions and billions type of answer. LOL

Why do people question whether there is a God or not? It actually takes more faith to believe in evolution and all that other crap. People have a tendency to make sense out of non-sense when we want to prove what we believe is correct but you can see God in the simplest things in life. Why be so complicated? Do people question the wind? why not? I mean you can’t see it, so why shouldn’t you second guess that it exists? wind has no color no shape and with the exception of carrying odors, no smell, yet it exists… you can feel that it’s there so that’s the only reason you believe it. That’s Hypocritical. Oh ye of little faith. what do you have to lose? you’re so caught up in not believing in the wrong thing, that you can’t see the truth even if it smacks you between the eyes. I’s not about being religious, anyone can say they are religious and follow a whole list of traditions. It’s about believing that you were created for a bigger purpose than you choose not to see. A God did exist, does exist and always will whether you want to believe it or not. A savior did come to this earth to die in your place on a cross. Why is it so hard to believe? is it because you would never do that type of selfless act for anyone else? is it too hard to believe because you can’t understand that amount of love? “it’s gotta be made up” right? let’s just say the bible was just “another book written by man”. The bible tells us how we should treat one another with love and respect, and to love one another unconditionally, and not to sin against one another. All which is 10 times better and more effective than your constitution(if followed fully). As soon as you read or hear something that you don’t agree with then, “OH this is crap”. If we followed the bible we’d be better off than using this so called constitution that has proven itself over and over to be defective. Most of you say “oh I don’t believe in God or the bible” and never even read it for yourselves. Half of the things I hear from people are so crazy I’d probably not believe it either if i were you, that’s why you have to read it for yourself and apply it then you’ll see true change. you’re right not to believe them. There are too many people out there using the word of God for profit and to control others. but that’s another story. I’m sure you probably never even gave God a true chance. you probably prayed a few times and felt ridiculous and saw no change then wrote it off altogether. hello, you don’t believe so it wouldn’t be real for you. until you believe, your eyes will forever be veiled. What are you afraid of? Looking like a fool? submission? change?righteousness? looking weak? well next time your world gets flipped upside down, try calling on him and see what happens. There is nothing new under the sun. Almost every situation that you face in life is written down in the bible and it tells you how to get through it. Pick up the bible and see what he tells you. All of the prophesies are coming to pass. Why isn’t anyone asking why are all these birds, fish, and other animals dying mysteriously? or why is nature going so crazy with disasters? Coincidence? I think NOT! Who knows if this article is true or not, but who cares? regardless of the fact I believe that God exists and he’s calling us. The more you pull away the less you hear. The end is near Please at least give him a chance. you have NOTHING to lose. sorry for the book.

It takes NO faith at all to believe in evolution. Evolution is backed up by a scientific theory. Your wind apology is stupid and illogical. We know where wind comes from, why it happens, and it can be measured. You read the bible with a biased point of view. The bible has so many contradictions with NO evidence to back it up. Man has flaws, the bible was written by man, therefore the bible is flawed. Should the bible be flawed if it was written based on a PERFECT god? No. The “end times” have been coming for the longest time now. Predicted dates pass and nothing happens. Atheist only believe in ONE less god than you do. You reject Allah for the same reasons we reject your god. It’s all about geography. If you would have been born some where else, you’d be saying the same thing about a different God. We are all born Atheist, then we a TAUGHT what to believe.

Scared of wasting my precious time. Life is too short to worship a story. If there is a God, to me, he is proably some advanced form of life that created the universe on a whim, perhaps just a science experiment in a bottle, which has been let run its course.

Too many Christians live for the afterlife, being small and petty to their fellow man in this life, waiting for their get out of jail free card to cash in. The way I live is tobe happy, be positive as I can to make my ancestors proud, because they lived harder lives through harder times to get my to this point. When I reach the end of my road and stare death in the eye I will be unashamed of my life with no last minute repentances need be. If you happen to be right, my golden ticket into the Kingdom of Heaven should be set through how I lived my life, not by what I believed.

But, if you don’t believe in God, and that Jesus took your punishment so that you can pass through to eternal life on the day of judgment, then I’m sorry, but no amount of deeds can save you apart from God. If I am right, then you and many others who think they are good enough to get into heaven have been sadly misled. I’m not wasting my time- I share God with anyone who wishes to hear or even question, because it is what I whole-heatedly believe. And I am sorry, but your ancestors and my ancestors are long gone and have no say or amount of pride in what we do or have done. If they could now talk back to you, they now know the truth- that at the Throne of the God of the Universe, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. (Isaiah 45:23, Philippians 2:10). They know the truth and unless they (my ancestors included) confessed that Jesus was their Lord while on this earth, they are now suffering eternal punishment. If I’m right, and if it was possible, they would try to warn you to not follow in their footsteps, honor or not, they would try to convince you to confess and save yourself. But now, we only have God’s Word and His people to tell you and others that God wishes that you repent and confess that Jesus is Lord.

Is it arrogance? Is it stupidity? or is it ignorance that make people still think that there is not a God who created the world? I do regard such people as demon possessed individuals who want to disagree with anything associated with the God who created the heavens and earth. At this level of scientific intelligence it takes an ignorant idiot to think that there is not a God who created heaven and earth and all the trimmings to sustain life. Take oxygen as an example if you know what it is…the longest a normal person can survive without oxygen is 3-10 minutes, depending on the heart condition of the person. As a biological scientist on my PhD degree, I will agree oxygen is the most important thing on earth available for humans and other organisms to enjoy so life can go on till the end of it when we can no longer make use of oxygen or when we are deprived of it by some wicked and stupid elements like those who don’t believe in God or who wrongly think they do. God loves his creation so much that oxygen is free and above all it is invisible so no one can hoard it and sell it to others. It is because we cannot survive without the vital gas oxygen in the air. Thinking about the world we live in, who will make something like that and give it free of charge? For the fools who don’t believe in God and creation can you shut up your faces and stop wasting the ears? It takes the highly intelligent to believe in God, because the highly intelligent can percieve, question and make deductions and some will experiment. Think about DNA. Acording too biochemical science, it carries all the information to make human individuals, plants and other living things what they are, subject to the environment. Yet DNA is within a cell which cannot be seen with the naked eye. This means, DNA cannot be seen; yet with a carefully selected scientific protocol you can extract DNA which you can visibly see. Before its extraction I had doubts about DNA. After years of extracting DNA with my students, no one can change my mind about the existence of DNA. The same thing with God…. believe it or not..God spoke to me in 2009 after saying a prayer about something that was bothering me. Before then, I believed that there was God, but the icing on the cake is when he spoke to me. Who could be talking next to me at 3 a.m. after I had just finished praying and the speech was followed by a flash of a rainbow in my bedroom? The highly intelligent will believe and make sense of this, but the fools will call me a fool, because they cannot make sense of it. Remember, God has made some trully humble people so intelligent to be able to percieve and appreciate him and his creation. For the arrogant he has made so stupid that they are still wasting time and money looking for evidence when it is poking them in the eye every passing second. I can’t stand these idiots wasting money to look for the evidence of the origin humans when they have not found a cure for the common cold and when others are dieing of hunger, thirst and diseases. If we are sharing a world with such fools, then there are more questions than answers! Because they are so arrogant and project themselves more than the humble intellectuals, children and some ignorant adults believe them and think there is no God. For the ignorant, trust me there is God the Almighty who should be acknowledged as the creator of heavens and the earth. They may have been changes due to chages in our genes but God created the first humans and instliled in them the power to give birth to their own kind. All living things have been endowed with this capacity, even though some for some reason are not able to have offspring. So unless you are blatantly foolish, arrogant or demon possessed, I don’t see why you should doubt the existence of a God who created the heavens and the earth with the natural elements. Some may ask why then are so mant things going wrong? It is because we fail to acknowledge God and follow his principles. We are the problem, not God. What do you do to your child who continuously abuse you and doesn’t even recognise you as a parent? When you are thinking about God, ignore books like the bible and the choran and think of what you see, hear and enjoy….Who made oxygen? Could that have come by chance and we can’t live without it? Computers and mobile phones were created by humans by chance. But some people are still alive and thriving who have never seen a computer or touched a mobile phone. But, probably, your inferior intelligence of not believing in God will be able to tell me which human being on earth can survive for a day without oxygen and why human are still not able to go and live in space in their numbers. Start thinking and stop stinking! Abena

yeah better teach that “sensible” evolution from a one celled amoeba that deciided it needed to come out of the slime & grow legs. The real smart ones became humans while others chose to be trees. Or that the entire organized universe began with an unplanned explosion. Lot’s of wonderful things begin from big explosions. Maybe we should follow the great examples of laws that the Godless countries use & see how that works. But what I really don’t get is why they refuse to teach about that mythological Jesus guy along with Herc & Thor & Santa. Maybe next time the Buddhist monk’s come in the school to make their sand art or the Native American’s perform a spirit dance in the gym, they can finally explain why that guy allowed himself to be nailed to a cross when all he had to do was meditate and do a song & dance for everyone to achieve eternal life; since they would never allow a Christian to come into a school to display their beliefs. Now, I wonder who it is and why the answer is being so aggressively attacked? If it is not the truth, like Santa, Greek & Roman mythology, etc.; then why not treat it as a fable & allow it to be taught in school? If the Bible is just a book, why can’t we read them in schools? If I wore an I Love Jesus shirt to school, I’d be denied my freedom of speech & religion (Gov is not endorsing anything here) and either change the shirt or be expelled. But if I wore an I Love Buddah or I Love with picture of a cow (religious symbol of Hindus) there would be no consequence. Things that make you go hmmmm.

Interesting scientific facts about that single celled amoeba that decided to leave the ooze & go for a walk which resulted in every living creature that ever existed. I wonder how they decided which amoebas would become the eaters & the eaten. Sucks for the ones that chose to be in the eaten group. Brilliant of the dolphin & whale to grow blow holes. I wonder why the seals, sea lions & walrus didn’t think of that? Great thing that explosion in nowhere that caused the entire organized universe though. I can’t wait to see what wondrous things evolve from other big explosions that have occurred.

a non believer until filled by the holy spirit wont see whats right in front of them or will use every concievable excuse or science or whatever to rationalize what they dont want to believe they have this choice it was given to them by their father their maker so choose as you will and I will pray for you, the ones who dont believe in our Father, Jesus his one begotten son, holy spirit and the 10 comandments thats my right my choice I will do it even if I was set on fire and hung by a cross by non beleivers or believers of other faith or satan himself I am commanded by my Father to do so and if I slip up and I will because like all poeple I sin cant help it no human can I know how to find forgiveness and try harder thru Jesus If anyone thinks christians arent persecuted they are foolish all humans are in one form or another thats were satan wants us all so we dont come to know the truth so choose as you may and I will pray. I think it is quite amusing people think someone actually wrote the early parts of the bible. Who wrote Genesis, who was around to record all the events? Also, who wrote the book of Samson if he was on his journey alone? There are too many inconsistencies. Jesus was most probably born in September and not December. Also, if December 25 is so important, why wouldn’t Easter be equally important and fall on the same day too? Just some thoughts…

    • Dale

      July 18, 2014 at 10:42 pm

So, James, do you think the Bible is all make believe? How do you explain artifacts & non believer historians who wrote about events that match those in the Bible? And what would be the purpose of saying the Bible is true if it is not? It wouldn’t profit any King or any reilgious leader because Jesus teaches NOT to worship them. Instead He says we can all access God through Him. If the Bible is simply a bunch of myths, legends & fables, why is there sucg an aggressive fight to prevent it from being read in schools equally with Greek, Roman & Norse mythology?

      James to answer your questions
      1) Moses wrote Genesis…he went to ‘school’ and gave God him an account of the history of creation.
      2) Samson appears in the book of Judges in the bible. I have not found who wrote it yet. It may have been written by a collection of people. For the parts where Samson was alone, God would have given the author(s) a history lesson as He did with Moses.
      3) Jesus was born during the Jewish feast of Tabernacles so he was born in either September or October.
      4) Easter IS as important but its humans who grade events and make them more special than one another.

      Hope this helps.

What were they thnking? that maybe there are some absolutes? Why not just let everyone decide what works for them? No one can impose their personal beliefs on anyone. we are not born athiests. quite the opposite actually. we have an ingrained yearning to know our creator & search the stars, the depths of the oceans, travel far & wide & read extensively to find the truth & our purpose. when we get the answers we don’t like or don’t want, then we choose not to believe or accept. if there is no God then what separates us from all other life forms? why would we not live by our instincts & survival of the fittest? why would we care to share Jesus with anyone? there is no personal gain from it. Yes there are those who profit from it, with greedy intentions. However, that doesn’t disprove His existence.Just as immoral & corrupt athletes, entertainers & politicians don’t represent their careers. Charles Manson & all the other psychos & sociopaths don’t represent me or this country. Should we denounce USA because of the crakpots? Should we boycott all sports & form of entertainment due to all of the criminal & perverse activity involved in them? Do we refuse to vote because there are so many corrupt politicians? Non Christian historians wrote about Jesus & the “unexplainable” events that surrounded Him. Start there and seek Him out. Read the poem “one Solitary Life” and think about it for awhile. May God bless you with peace & understanding.

Original Biblical languages used in the Hebraic Torah and the New Canon or New Testament are as follows:
    Hebrew & Aramaic – Old Canon/Torah/Old Testament
Greek – New Canon/ New Testament

I pose this question, “If the coding translates from Aramaic then how is a verse written in Greek translatable?” The verse I reference is 1 Corinthians 6:19.

Before anyone blasts me, we are told to have faith but to hold to account those who claim divinity or come claiming representation of God.
I don’t pretend to be a scientist or a linguistical genius, although I am a Ph.D. In Biblical Studies, by no means am I all knowing. If God encoded His Word into human genetics, then WOW. It means nothing when we are born into sin and repentance to Salvation is what truly matters.
Some of you here will feel like taking me to task over my words. I will not participate. I merely ask a question and pose a resolution. It is your choice to give that small portion of faith you were created with an opportunity to grow or to deny it outright.
God’s Word never comes back void. No matter the translation or they who speak it. If all this article does is set your sights on finding out, then His Word has not been void at all.

I will now relinquish this very small soapbox to someone more eloquent than I.

You bastard! How dare you publish lies about God and the works of His hands? How dare you mock God and mock the people of God? I’m sure that was your intention ~ to show up Christians as gullible. I hope that your success with your asinine joke keeps you warm at night, until you meet the real “Richter,” the real Judge of humanity. Even so, it doesn’t matter what you do in your arrogance. We are still “wonderfully and fearfully made.” And you can’t change that.

I don’t know if I buy this – not nearly enough evidence at this point; nevertheless, if I were to take this at face value, how could I believe any world view other than Christianity? If “God” has written ancient verses from the Christian Bible into my DNA, then I think I’d better pay attention. To say you think this is true, but it doesn’t prove anything is nothing short of insane. To say you believe this without further corroborating evidence is naive. Why are people so amazingly close-minded on the topic of “God”. If “God” is real, then I imagine He is not afraid of questions, thinking, or science – if these findings are true, He has obviously hidden Himself for us to find Him with science. As I stated before, I need further evidence to buy this claim – it is wildly out of the box! Nevertheless, if there are quotes from the Christian 1st and 2nd Testament written in my DNA in ancient Arabic, then I think that means something. It could mean everything.

Good answer. I am a Christian and I am learning every day. Being a Christian is like a growing up child. Day 1 (crawl), Day 2 (walk), Day 3 (fall), Day 4 (get back up)…you get the point!

So you will meet some Christians that are like grandpas and some that are like newborns.

Not sure where I am but I am past the point where I need scientific proof to prove God’s existence. This doesn’t make it wrong to be at that point.

God is real and He loves humans because He created us. He will do his best to save us from perishing in the after life – be it through a vision, discovery of cryptic messages in DNA a near death experience, etc. Everyone has their tilting point at which they change their minds. and I pray you will reach yours soon.

      God bless.

If you would like some empirical evidence that points to the existence of the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac the God of Jacob, and the God of Jesus, please read “Logics of the Kingdom: A Scientific Analysis of the Word of God”. It covers all four known forces as well as chemistry, light- and wave-dynamics as well as particle physics/quantum mechanics and reveals how these processes are alluded to in scripture. Have a pleasant day.

You know that the Elite had already discovered it because they have been doing all they can to CHANGE OUR DNA and change us into monsters like they really are under that human disguise. All the Chemtrails, and deadly vaccines, drugs, poison foods, poison air, water, soil, etc all geared to change our DNA. The Elite want to kill anything associated with God.

Lol, look at the non believers scramble lol, yes kids, language already pre programmed in us. You can’t be skeptical without studying both sides of the story. Keep in mind the head of the human genome project (dr Collins of which 3500’scientists voted him into that position) was agnostic until finding out what he has found. Now he’s a believer. More and more stuff will come out.

The fact that some still believe that an explosion caused all this is great. I am going to go put a bunch of metal, wires, electrical parts, and glass in a warehouse. Then I’m going to blow it all up. When I come back to the warehouse I should have working flat screen tvs everywhere!!!!!

I find this amazing, and pray they do continue searching dna for the Lords word, amen.

My story is very long, will not attempt to tell it, will say this though. I was never into God or the Bible,, I know all the stupid arguments of the nonbelievers, made them a many, many times. 8 months ago I was forgiven by Christ, three times he filled me with what I know now is the Holy Ghost, I have a testimony that I have yet to hear come from another. Now I believe with absolute knowing, for I felt the presence of Christ in me, I had a dream that came true, and everything that was told to me has come to pass. I have never known love like I do now, or ever had a heart so light and without hate. There is but one, Yah, Christ Jesus is that way, the path and the light that guides us. I pray He touches all who know not, and blessed are those who just believe by faith alone. All glory is His, amen, amen, bless God.

I have been a volunteer Paramedic for greater than 27 years, and have a good working knowledge of the human body. I can’t believe that all we are has happened by accident.
The human body is to complicated, it heals itself, has the ability to learn, make decisions (Right or Wrong), the ability to LOVE.
I have witness God’s work in the Emergency Room and even in the back of my Ambulance. I’ve seen to much not to believe, (God keeps me going, even when I want retire, send someone I have to treat and the Mother hugs me and says “THANK YOU”
How can I stop. Doc Holiday

Jesus, is this really what’s going on in America in 2014? The country is in trouble.

Doesn’t anyone here realise the article in question is a put-on? WIT was originally called, Wyoming Institute of Education and Nuclear Energy Research. Notice the acronym? Bob Jones University? Spare me!

Obviously though, there are some hip Americans. Like these comrades. Listen to and read your atheists, friends.

This article talks about words, nothing but words, and most people here are arguing about words not reality. I mean I can interpret words such as “GATTACA” as something like, in our language, “make some coconut cream” or “TAGAC” as “swan”.

Come on! There are many languages in the world and you can pick anything to interpret something the way you want it to be.

This article is definitely a “reliable source”, and should have the “Nobel prize” for encouraging irrational thinking and strengthening stupid arguments.

Not believing in something because you cannot see it is really not a good rationale. Remember there was a time when humans could not see microbes or distant stars, microscopes and telescopes made those things possible. Before those inventions how many people were ridiculed for believing in what they could not see? To believe that only what we can see, hear, or touch is the limit to the universe is archaic. There are some new studies that are remarkable and several articles exist concerning these studies, this article is interesting and may or may not be factual, but I like that there are people willing to study the subject rather than just ignore it. Like those who awaited the invention of the telescope or microscope for those who believe, the invention is only secondary.

Very interesting article. What is also known is:

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:1-3)

God loves us all through Jesus Christ. Repent of all sin and begin to follow God according to his amazing and wonderous word as found in the Bible.

Psalm 139:16 : Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

This is another example of a complicated Hebrew phrase that gives the translators fits. They are myopic – near sighted. They fail to take into account that the Holy Spirit was able to inspire a truth that could only be understood in the future. Let’s look at the verse.

This is why the verse is about DNA:

Let’s start with the word “book”. The Hebrew word is “cepher” and it means a decree or set of instructions that are written on a scroll. Do not picture a book like we have today, the word is scroll.

Now lets look at the word “substance”. It comes from the Hebrew word “golem” and means a fetus or embryo. The instructions for the development of the fetus or embryo is determined by the information in the scroll.

Next we will consider “all [my members] were written”. It comes from one word, “kathab”, and means information that prescribes or directs. That is, the various parts of the body are all prescribed in this scroll.

The word translated “fashioned” comes from “yatsar” and means something that comes into form according to a predetermined plan.

Finally we consider “In continuance”. This comes from one Hebrew word: “yowm” and means a specific or special period of time. That is the development of the embryo or body over time ,in its proper sequence, is also recorded in this scroll.
